Katie Kern: Administrative Assistant

In 2019, Katie and her husband enrolled their son at VGNS. Katie has been a
member of First Congregational Church her entire life. She has been a Sunday
school teacher for several years and also previously taught preschool. Even
though she has her Head Teacher certificate, Associate's of Science, and Early
Childhood Education Certificate, we asked her to apply for the Administrative
position because it's a good fit. Katie joined the staff in March 2020. Her duties
include, collecting tuition payments, distributing and collecting all paperwork,
Lending Library and Scholastic Book Club coordinator and many other projects
throughout the year. (Katie is our all around get it done person!)  Katie also subs in
the classrooms when needed.
